ACH

For your convenience and upon many requests, Taylor Electric Cooperative is now offering ACH. What does ACH stand for? Automatic Clearing House, which simply means Taylor Electric will automatically deduct your electric bill from your savings or checking account each month.
ACH lets your bank do all of the work. Each month, the amount due is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account. This withdrawal will occur on or around the 10th of each month. There is no check for you to mail-ACH takes care of this for you!
ACH offers reliability. All you have to do is make sure there is enough money in your account, the same service fee of $25 currently charged for non-sufficient fund checks would apply.
If you choose to switch your account to ACH, the following steps will occur each month:

  1. You call, send in, or e-mail your meter reading to Taylor Electric.
  2. Taylor Electric calculates your bill
  3. You receive a monthly statement displaying the kWhs used and the amount of your bill taken from your checking account.

Your account will be charged for your electric bill on or around the 10th of the month. With this service you will save money and time-no check writing costs, no postage expense, and more time for you! If you would like to take advantage of this service, please contact Taylor Electric at 715-678-2411 and let one of our customer service specialists assist setting up your account.
Please remember that Taylor Electric Cooperative also offers the convenience of accepting MasterCard, Visa, and Checkrite Cards. We also offer budget billing, which allows you to pay the same amount each month. This amount is based on your prior year's usage and can be used in conjunction with the ACH, MasterCard, Visa and Checkrite Cards. Budget billings are reviewed each year and adjusted accordingly. You are, however, still required to read your meter each month. To take advantage of any of our services or for suggestions on services you would like offered, please contact our office.
