TEC Linemen, Mike Eloranta and Colten Cummings, returned home Monday, April 6th after being gone since Thursday, April 2, as part of the Restoration of Power in an Emergency (ROPE) program, where they assisted in restoring electric service for Central WI Electric Cooperative in Rosholt, WI. Roughly 5,000 members of the cooperative were out of power after being hit by the same ice storms that came through our area last week. The cooperative was also experiencing transmission problems from ATC which had sustained storm damage as well.
